Release v0.17.0: No more burns, Spells Updates, Ball of Fortune

Hey all! We’ve just dropped an update — v0.17.0. Here’s what’s new:

🔥 Effect Update: No More Burns

We’ve received feedback about the burning effect and decided to remove the cards with this effect from the Standard card set. Not only was the effect missing a description, but it was also inconsistent with the rest of the game—only two cards or spells caused it.

That’s why we’ve moved on from the burning effect and replaced the related cards and spells. For starters, we replaced the Pyromania spell with Transmutation—a chaotic spell that introduces more variety to gameplay. We also removed Grand Fire from the Ball of Fortune and added several new options as substitutes.

🪄 Updated Spells

All spells in the spell tree now have an updated look. The new icons better reflect each spell’s effect, making them easier to identify during gameplay. Additionally, the spells have new names that better fit the world of Pawsome Elements.

🎆 Card Update: Ball of Fortune

The Ball of Fortune now truly lives up to its name—a giant, levitating fortune teller’s tennis ball! We’ve updated its appearance and effects. The new version is more balanced, more fun, and more visually appealing.
